A grey coloured block retaining wall and steps that blend with the house colours at Marmong Point provides good depth for the garden soil to support new fruit trees and low cascading plants. The slimline water tank provides water for the nearby vegetable garden. The heavily mulched garden with native blend garden soil is ideal for the range of bird attracting native plants. The recycled crushed concrete path adds a rustic touch. The timber edge defines where the garden meets the lawn and keeps the mulch in place.

Greywater from the house at Toronto is diverted into a gravel trench which spreads the water between a stand of bananas and lemon grass which thrive with the regular flow of water and nutrients. Two years after planting there are enough bananas to be able to give some away to friends and neighbours. The lemon grass is used in cooking in the kitchen, the leaves are harvested for mulching the garden and the thick growth excludes grass from entering the garden.

The heavy clay soil at Louth Park near Maitland traps water so the trench which is 500mm x 500mm catches and directs the flow of water. The geofabric excludes soil from blocking the drain. Recycled crushed glass has been used to filter the water before it enters the Ag pipe. More glass is spread above and around the pipe before the fabric is spread back over the top.

The dry stone walls constructed at Buttaba Hills provide a cost effective solution for a new house built into the side of a hill, creating level areas and retaining the cut and fill of the site. The weight of the rock is leaning back into the slope for strength and recycled 70mm diameter size concrete with Ag pipes are placed behind the walls for drainage.

Three downpipes from the house at Marmong Point are directed into the round colourbond tank which matches the colour of the house. The 100mm thick steel reinforced concrete slab is the ideal base to support the tank which has a pressure pump attached to supply water to the garden at similar pressure to mains water supply.

The varying colours of the quarry standstone wall at Toronto create a nice feature with the planting providing contrasting colours. A steel reinforced concrete footing supports the wall with concrete packed behind each rock and Ag pipe and gravel placed behind the wall for drainage.

We supply, deliver and install colourbond vegetable garden beds in slimline and round shapes and install prefertilised garden soil ready for you to plant your own fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers.

A garden planted with bird attracting indigenous plants at Kilaben Bay is heavily mulched with eucalyptus leaf mulch and is planted on a mound of prefertilised native blend soil. The density of the planting excludes weed growth while providing habitat for birds and lizards. The planting is arranged with low plants in the front, then medium size shrubs in the middle and tall shrubs at the rear providing an interesting visual arrangement and creates privacy for the house from the street.

Our rubber tracked bobcat and licensed operator are available for hire and with a width of 1200mm is ideal for tight access work. The rubber tracks allow work to proceed when conditions are damp and they create less mess for lawns and driveways than rubber wheeled machines.

The taste of home grown food is equally beneficial with the saving of transporting costs associated with purchasing food which is grown outside our local area. Our design and construction service creates sustainable gardens for schools, and suburban or rural properties.

The gully at Rathmines was eroding each time that heavy rain washed through. The use of large rocks at the top of the hill and recycled concrete lower down hill to create a creek bed slowed the flow of water. The addition of a small bridge and soil binding plants would then complete the project.

A water feature at the front of a house at Lakelands provides a nice background sound for visitors approaching the house and attracts birds to the garden to drink.
